Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before purchasing or using SparkIn. By using SparkIn you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. The Service

SparkIn is a Chrome browser extension that uses AI language models (via your own OpenAI or Anthropic API key) to help you draft LinkedIn comments. SparkIn is a writing assistant — it does not automate posts, clicks, or interactions on your behalf.

2. License

Upon purchase you are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable, personal license to install and use SparkIn on one browser profile. You may not sublicense, resell, share, or redistribute your license key.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use SparkIn to:

  • Generate spam, misleading content, or content that impersonates others.
  • Violate the terms of service of LinkedIn or any other platform.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or copy any part of SparkIn.
  • Resell or commercially redistribute SparkIn or its license keys.

4. Your API Key & AI Usage

SparkIn requires you to supply your own OpenAI or Anthropic API key. You are responsible for all usage and costs incurred under your API key. We have no visibility into your API usage and bear no responsibility for charges from your AI provider.

5. Third-Party Platforms

SparkIn is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by LinkedIn, OpenAI, or Anthropic. Use of SparkIn on LinkedIn is at your own discretion and risk. You are responsible for complying with LinkedIn's User Agreement.

6. Refund Policy

We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee. If SparkIn does not work as described within 7 days of purchase, email support@sparkin.net for a full refund. Refunds will not be issued after 7 days except at our discretion.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

SparkIn is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that SparkIn will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the AI-generated content will be accurate or suitable for any particular purpose. Use at your own risk.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SparkIn and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the service, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or account suspension by LinkedIn.

9. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of SparkIn after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will post updated Terms on this page with a new date.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation before pursuing formal proceedings.
